What RentX does

RentX is a marketplace for luxury ground transport. When someone needs a wedding car in Sacramento, a party bus in Miami or an airport transfer in Houston, we connect them with a vetted local operator who actually has the vehicle. We do not own the fleet, our job is to make finding the right vehicle, in the right city, on the right date, straightforward.

We publish coverage across all 50 states and 27 service categories, which means the problems here are rarely small. A change to how one page works usually changes how hundreds of thousands of them work.

How we work

We are based in Roseville, California. The team is small enough that people own problems end to end rather than a narrow slice of one, you will see the effect of your work, and you will be close to the customers and operators it affects.

We would rather hire someone who is genuinely interested in the problem than someone who ticks every box on a list. If you can do most of what a role describes and you want to learn the rest, apply.

Our hiring process

Every application is read by a person and everyone gets a reply, whether the answer is yes or no. If we would like to take it further, expect an initial conversation about what you are looking for, then a more detailed discussion about the role itself with the people you would be working alongside.
